General

Our product search engine is one of the most simple to use, it lets you search on a single field for a product based on the keyword you enter. If these results need more refinement you can then click on Advanced Search for more filter criteria.

Use My Profile You can follow your tickets, bids, purchases, and the items you’re interested in

Go to My Profile. On the left side of the page, select the appropriate category of the item. Then, next to the item name, select the check box next to the item, and click the Remove or Delete button.

We are open Mon-Fri from 9am until 6pm. Unfortunately we do not work Saturdays, Sundays or bank holidays.

Buying

You can shop for every type of product on Zayfer. Here’s how to get started:

  1.  Choose an item from…

  • View All button – view all categories then pick a product.
  • Search Mode – Enter keywords into the search box at the top of any page and pick product.

  • As well as purchasing outright you can either place a bid on an item or purchase a prize draw ticket.
  • Remember, all bids/draws are active until the listing ends. If you win you’re obliged to complete the transaction.
  1.  Add the item to your cart, when you click the Buy Now button this will automatically add the item to your shopping cart, so you can continue shopping if you require more than one item.
  1. Pay for the item. When you have finished shopping, click on checkout /shopping cart.

Bidding Basics

If you are the maximum bidder on an item or wish to retract a winning bid please contact bid@zayfer.com as soon as possible. Please also provide a reason for why you wish to retract your bid.

You can raise your maximum bid at any time. Just place another bid at a higher amount.

Everyone wants to win, but only at the right price. Although we suggest that you bid the maximum amount that you’re willing to pay for an item, you could pay less. As the listing proceeds, we compare your bid to those of other bidders.

Here’s how to bid on an auction item:

  1. Carefully review the listing.
  2. Enter your maximum bid, and then click the Bid Now button.
  3. Review your bid, and confirm the bid.

When the listing ends, you’ll receive an email indicating whether you’ve won the item and an explanation of what to do next.

As a general rule, you are not allowed to retract or cancel a bid, there are genuine reasons however which will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Tips

  • Bidding is meant to be fun, but remember that each bid you place enters you into a binding contract. All bids are active until the listing ends. If you win a listing, you’re obligated to purchase the item.
  • Don’t bid on identical items in different listings if you only want one item. If you win both, you’ll be obligated to buy both.
  • If you’re outbid on an item, wait until the auction has ended before placing a bid on an equivalent item. If the bidder who won the auction doesn’t complete the transaction for any reason, you could become the winning bidder.

No one wants to be outbid. Find out how you can help avoid it.

  • Last minute bid – Take note of when the bidding auction for that item will close. Placing high bids in the closing minutes/seconds can prove to pay off.
  • High bidding – put in a high offer which will ensure that you will win, however make sure you are willing to pay this price.

If you’re outbid on a listing, you’ll receive the following email:

When another buyer’s bid exceeds your maximum price, you’ll receive an email letting you know that you have been outbid. You can use the link in this email to return to the item page and increase your bid.

If you win and item, you’ll receive the following email:

Winner notice

This will provide links to paying the amount you have bid on the item.

I want to delete or remove an item in My Profile.

Go to My Profile. On the left side of the page, select the appropriate category of the item. Then, next to the item name, select the check box next to the item, and click the Remove or Delete button.

Payment and Postage

Have you won an auction or bought an item/ticket? Congratulations on your purchase. Now that it’s time to pay, our different payment methods make it easy.

    • Pay using a Debit/Credit Card
    • Pay us via your PayPal account
    • Pay us using Google Wallet

Usually we aim to deliver within 2-3 days to anyone within the UK. Visit our Delivery page for more information.

– Auctions have a start time but no end time, all auctions close when the countdown timer reaches zero

All of our prices and stock availability information are displayed in real time, therefore whenever there is a price change the new information is immediately reflected on our website.

Our ticket Draw service offers very low prices but even our Bid and Buy Now services are genuine and cost effective. We deal with delivery in all cases for no extra cost whereas some of our competition add this on. Our goal is to give our customers the best price out there with the best quality products, and we are very good at the way we do business to provide you these.

During and after the checkout process your credit card details are encrypted, once you reach the screen where you enter your details you are on our secure server, after your order is placed your credit card details are then encrypted again to prevent anyone accessing them.

If we look at the security issue first, when you type your credit/switch card number into our site, our web site is in secure mode. This means that the information you type in will be encoded and our server decodes it. Anyone “listening” to traffic en route will not be able to make sense of your number. Our system, known as the “Secure Socket Layer”, works and is used by every well known trading web company. You will be able to tell if you are in secure mode when a little padlock appears at the bottom right of your screen.

We currently accept Visa/Visa Debit/Mastercard/Discover/American Express.

By specifying an alternative address it may delay your order by 24 hours due to the security checks that we need to perform before despatching your order.

No, all orders can be placed and queries resolved successfully via our website.

Depending on your location we can generally ship to you within 2-3 days. If you are ordering from Northern Ireland or the north of Scotland then your order could take up to more than 3 working days. Unfortunately we do not guarantee this. We can ship internationally but this may incur extra charges.

If no one is home to accept your order then you will be left a calling card and the goods will be returned to your local depot. You may contact the couriers to arrange a suitable redelivery date, or alternatively it may be possible to pick up the order from your local depot.  Identification will be required on request.

There may be a problem with one or more of the items on your order. Please contact our Customer Support Team as soon aspossible and we will investigate any hold up with the order and advise you on the best way to rectify the issue.

If you place an order over the weekend before 6pm on Sunday, for a next day service, you can expect to receive it on Monday. If you place an order after 6pm Sunday on next day service, you can expect your delivery on Tuesday.

Unfortunately we cannot currently specify a timed delivery and all orders are usually delivered between 9am and 6pm Mon-Fri.

Unfortunately if something is out of stock on your order then we will not dispatch any of your order until everything is in stock.

We do not charge debit / credit cards until the order is ready to be shipped. All orders that are placed will only be charged when the goods are ready to be dispatched and relevant security checks have been lifted. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit/debit card has been properly received.

This must be reported to us straight away. We can then take this matter up with the couriers, so that they can investigate this matter.

If you are unable to check the contents of the package at time of delivery please sign for the goods as “UNCHECKED”. Failure to do so may affect any warranty claims that you make thereafter.

A bid is considered a contract and you’re obliged to purchase the item. However, if you feel that you have a legitimate reason for not buying the item, you can contact Zayfer and explain your situation. Depending on the situation we may relist the item but you may be exempt from entering a bid for this item.
